Inside the housing is a spring-loaded cord with a locking clip. Hang the top triangle hook onto your existing porch bracket, tree branch, or pergola arm. Clip your basket onto the bottom S-hook. From that point on, the basket lives on FlexiBloom™ — and it moves whenever you do.

Will my existing porch hook hold this?
If your current hook holds your basket, it'll hold FlexiBloom™ + basket. The housing itself only adds about 200 g. Hangs straight off the same bracket, branch, or ceiling hook you're using now.
How heavy a basket can it actually handle?
Up to 33 lbs (15 kg). For reference: a 14-inch moss-lined hanging basket with a fully-watered mature fern usually runs 15–20 lbs. Big soil-filled coir-liner planters hit 25 lbs. You've got headroom for your largest pots.
Does the locking clip ever slip?
No. The clip locks the cord at whatever height you set until you squeeze it to release. Once it's set, the basket stays there — no slow drift, no creep down overnight, no surprise drop.
Can I use it indoors for houseplants?
Yes. Hook it into a ceiling plant hanger and it works the same way — pull your trailing pothos or fern down to repot or water properly, then push it back up out of the way.
Will it survive being left outside?
The housing is weather-rated for porch and patio use and the hardware is corrosion-resistant. For best lifespan, bring it indoors during heavy winter weather along with your other outdoor garden tools.
